About Me.
I grew up in Pasadena, California and am a product of Catholic school, beginning at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Pasadena, California and continuing on at Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy, California. After high school, I attended Loyola Marymount University where I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology.
After graduation, I began working at Saint Bernard Catholic School in Glassell Park, California and was there for eight years. At Saint Bernard, I taught all grade levels as the K-8 P.E. teacher, middle school religion teacher, 3rd grade teacher and spent the last 7 years as the Kindergarten teacher. During my time at Saint Bernard I became involved in various roles such as been a part of a WASC committee, been a WASC team leader, religion coordinator, technology coordinator, and Catholic Communication Collaboration (C3) and I3 Early Childhood series presenter. For the 2016-2017, school year I was appointed as a vice principal. In addition to my involvement at Saint Bernard, I was a member of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles religion standards committee who has worked together to develop and evaluate updated religion standards for the diocese.
I am happy to be a member of the Saint Elizabeth community and am thankful for the opportunity to use my experiences to continue to develop as a model in faith, service, and academic excellence to impact the catholic community and help form disciples of Christ and young leaders of faith.
